Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing SZABMU, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the university.
- Policy-making and overseeing the administration of all academic and administrative affairs of the university.
- Promoting medical education excellence and research at both clinical and non-clinical levels.
- Developing strategies for resource mobilization, ensuring the sustainable growth and development of the university.
- Enhancing the international reputation of SZABMU through academic excellence and global collaborations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: The candidate should hold a MS, MD, FCPS, or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) at Level I and Level III.
- Age: The applicant should not be more than 65 years of age at the time of the closing date for submission of applications.
- Teaching Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in a recognized medical institution.
- Research Publications: The candidate must have published at least 10 research papers in journals recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) or Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Leadership and Academic Reputation: A distinguished reputation as a scholar and academician with experience in managing high-level medical education institutions and exposure to international best practices is essential.
