IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS & HOW TO APPLY

• Application Form can be downloaded from the University of Shangla website i.e. http://www.ushangla.edu.pk.
• Application on prescribed form, complete in all respects, along with attested copies of testimonials/ experience certificates and three recent passport size photographs shall reach to Office of the Registrar, University of Shangla.
• Furthermore, (for the post of Associate Professor) Four (04) sets of Publications are also required to be sent with the application form.
• Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Original documents and relevant experience certificate(s) etc., shall have to be produced at the time of test/interview.
• Application processing fee (non-refundable) as per following details may be deposited in any branch of The Bank of Khyber in Account No. 2009010419, Branch Code. 0319 (Tel: 0996-400135 in case of queries). Original Bank slip/receipt should be attached with the form.
• Telephone/mobile numbers (non-converted) and email addresses must be provided along with mailing address for quick correspondence.
• Candidates serving in Government/ Semi Government/ Autonomous organizations/ institutions must apply through proper channel with NOC, otherwise their application forms will be rejected.
• Screening Test will be mandatory in appointments for the positions Lecturer, Administrative positions and Support Staff positions i.e. from Sr. No. 2 to 5. No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview.
• The process will be completed as per advertisement.
• The University will not be responsible for non-receipt/delay of call letters for test/interview and the matter should be settled with the concerned service providers (post office or courier).
• Maximum Age limit for faculty positions will be 55 years while for the administrative and support staff positions age limit will be 45 years.
• Candidates should regularly check the University of Shangla website (www.ushangla.edu.pk) and their emails for any information/processes.
• The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel any or all of them.
• Appointments from Sr. No. 6 to Sr. No. 12 of the Support Staff positions, shall be made from persons living within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Shangla (District Shangla), while appointments from Sr. No. 1 to Sr. No. 5 shall be made from persons living in the Malakand Division, as per provision of Section-4 read with Section-11(5)f of the KP Universities Act, 2012 amended upto date.
• Less than 3.00 CGPA or Grade-C will be considered as 2nd division, wherever CGPA is not given in the semester system, less than 70% marks will be considered as 2nd division.
• Candidates having foreign degrees/certificates must provide equivalency certificates from HEC/PEC/IBCC Islamabad.
